Jeff Wielki is an Alberta-based artist whose work examines how human systems and natural processes overlap, reshaping one another. His work results in sculpture, jewelry, furniture, painting, and film. His recent projects are attentive to the processes of transformation and how the everyday fits into the tangled systems of a place.

The Reckoning (2025) Tires, steel, concrete, paint, oil barrel, “The Rime of the Ancient Mariner” vinyl text. Installation variable.
There X Hear (2025) There X Hear (2025) is a performance and video piece in which a used wheelbarrow has been modified to become a gramophone. As the wheelbarrow is pushed, a rebar “needle” transmits sound from the ground through the modified bucket as horn, loudly interpreting the various surfaces it is pushed over. This project is rooted in the idea that we don’t listen to the world around us.
