Sarah van Sloten (she/her) is an artist and settler living and working on Treaty 7 territory at the confluence of the Bow and Elbow rivers in Calgary, AB. She completed her MFA in 2016 from the University of Windsor, where she received SSHRC funding for her research related to her performance and installation-based practice titled "Spatial Interruption of Local Surroundings".
