Shannon Hewlko is the Founder and Creative Director of Heyya Brands, a brand strategy and design studio that helps growing organizations build brands with clarity, confidence, and purpose. Working with businesses, municipalities, and non-profit organizations across Canada, she specializes in brand strategy, visual identity, website design, and marketing systems that support long-term growth.
Shannon believes great design is more than aesthetics—it is a strategic business tool that helps organizations communicate their value, build trust, and create meaningful connections. She is passionate about translating complex ideas into clear, engaging brands that reflect the people behind them.
Since graduating from the Alberta University of the Arts, Shannon has built a career at the intersection of creativity and business, partnering with founders, leadership teams, and marketing professionals to guide organizations through periods of growth and transformation. Her work combines research, strategy, design, and storytelling to create brands that are both distinctive and practical.
Beyond her client work, Shannon is committed to supporting Canada's design and entrepreneurial communities. As an Affiliate Member of the Registered Graphic Designers (RGD), she volunteers as a mentor and serves as an awards judge, helping recognize and support emerging creative talent. She has also served on the board of the Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) Calgary Chapter as Marketing and Communications Chair, where she helped strengthen member engagement and community initiatives.
Whether developing a new brand, launching a website, or helping an organization prepare for its next chapter, Shannon is driven by the belief that thoughtful design has the power to create lasting impact.
